Archive Note

Born in Italy in 1980, De Sabe started tattooing in Italy around 2004 and moved to London in 2006, where she worked at Frith Street Tattoo, Newskool, Jolie Rouge, and Seven Doors before co-founding Red Point Tattoo in North London with her husband Yutaro (Warriorism) and the Spanish tattooer Teide. She describes her style as Western traditional meets Japanese, working koi, dragons, waves, florals, and Venus-like female figures at both large and small scale, and she also paints, makes ceramics, and publishes drawing books. In 2020 she engraved a sweeping koi design into the body of a Lexus UX using a Dremel for what Lexus called the world's first tattooed car, and in 2012 she helped organize the Kokoro exhibition of Horiyoshi III's silk paintings at Somerset House in London.
