New York tattoo artist (handle rg74) who fuses traditional Japanese and American traditional tattooing. Best known for Japanese composition carrying American subjects, such as a bald eagle on a field of dragon scales.

Regino Gonzales has tattooed since 1995 and holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts. He built his name at Invisible NYC, Troy Denning's appointment-only custom shop on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, and now works at Good Luck NYC, the Greenpoint, Brooklyn studio founded by his former Invisible NYC colleague Kiku. His documented subjects include bald eagles, dragons, baleen whales, geishas, oni, and religious portraits, worked from large body-flowing compositions down to fineline and single-needle pieces. He is also a painter and illustrator.
