The Peruvian black-and-grey realism and surrealism tattooer who began in Lima, worked at Paul Booth's Last Rites in New York, and now splits his practice between Lima and Fort Lauderdale.

Stefano Alcantara is one of Latin America's leading black-and-grey realists, known for blending realism with dark and surreal imagery. He began tattooing in Lima, Peru, around 1994, opened his own shop there in 1999, and went on to work at Paul Booth's Last Rites studio in New York. He now divides his time between Lima and a Fort Lauderdale, Florida, studio he opened in 2015. His studios double as galleries for his oil paintings, and he exhibited paintings and tattoos at the Museo d'Arte Contemporanea in Rome in 2016.
