Archive Note

Tomas Tomas is a French-born tattooer working in blackwork, dotwork, large-scale body-flow composition, and tribal-geometric or neo-tribal registers, associated with London's Into You circle and later Black Moon Tattoo in Kumagaya, Saitama, Japan. The strongest evidence places his serious tattooing start in London in the mid-1990s, includes him in the later Into You roster, and documents his Japan phase through GAIN's 2021 profile and the current Black Moon shop pages. The evidence does not support a hard formal-apprenticeship chain, a precise relocation date, or the unsupported long quotes that circulate through weaker tattoo-media routes. Because current sources present him as active, the Atlas limits the entry to public professional claims and avoids private-life inference.
